Every billable hour, captured to billed.
OnPoint is the whole path from work to payment: capture time in seconds, let AI polish your words into bill-ready narratives, keep unbilled and overdue work in plain sight, and send letterhead bills — from your phone or your desk.
- Capture in seconds — tap a tenth, run the timer, type, or dictate
- Polish turns rough words into clean billing language
- Letterhead bills in Word, PDF, and Excel
- Unbilled totals and overdue invoices, always visible

Capture it your way. Bill it in minutes.
Capture it
Tap a tenth, run the timer, or type a line the moment work ends. Or talk the way you'd brief an assistant — "Johnson, one point seven, consultation re settlement agreement" — and Live Capture lines up several entries from one breath.
AI structures it
The AI reads your words like a colleague would and fills in the client, the hours, the date, and a clean narrative. Nothing saves until you've looked it over and approved it. Your phone's own speech recognition does the listening — audio never leaves your device. To structure an entry, the dictated text is sent along with your client and matter names (so it can match them) — never audio.
The bill goes out
Pick a period and export Word, PDF, Excel, or plain text on your own letterhead. On iPhone the share sheet opens with the files already attached — choose Mail, Gmail, or Outlook and send.
Rough notes in. Bill-ready language out.
You wrote "Worked on the motion for summary judgment, and kept revising the statement of undisputed facts. Also emailed the paralegal about exhibits." Tap Polish and the AI rewrites it the way a seasoned biller would: Draft Motion for Summary Judgment; revise statement of undisputed facts; correspondence to paralegal re exhibits.
Know what you're sitting on.
The Invoices tab totals your unbilled work since each client's last invoice — "You're sitting on $6,724" is the kind of number that gets bills out the door. Overdue invoices sort themselves to the top with a red badge and a Remind button that drafts a courteous nudge for you.
Or skip the taps entirely: tell the assistant "Send XYZ's bill as a PDF." It shows you the period, the hours, and the dollars first — nothing sends without your yes — then opens the share sheet with the file attached.
Bills your clients take seriously.
Every export is letterhead-ready: your logo and firm block, the client's billing details, itemized dates, hours, rates, and balance due. A multi-client date range exports one Word or PDF file per client, each with its own invoice number — plus an Excel workbook with a summary tab and a bill-form tab per client, or a plain-text block you can drop straight into your billing system.
The same app, at your desk.
Open onpointtimeentry.com in any browser and OnPoint becomes desk software: capture on the left, your day as a real table on the right, week and month boards, and a Summary that tracks your goal all the way to the year. Nothing to install, and every entry is already on your phone.
Four themes. One clean bill.
Professional for the office, pastel for a softer desk, beach for daylight, dark for late nights. The theme is for your screen, never the client's — exported bills always keep their black-on-white letterhead look.
Your clients' business stays yours.
OnPoint keeps your entries on your device — the app works fully offline, and when you sign in they sync privately to your own account, so a lost phone never means lost work. Dictation is handled by your phone's own speech recognition: OnPoint never records, stores, or transmits audio.
The AI features send only the text you dictate or type, together with your client and matter names so it can match them. No ads, no tracking analytics, and your work is never sold or shared — and you can put the whole app behind Face ID.
Read the privacy policy — the plain-English version is at the top.
Built by a practicing attorney. OnPoint exists because tenths kept evaporating between the conference room and the desk — it's built, tested, and billed with in real practice, and it does one job fast.
One rescued tenth pays for the month.

Fair questions.
Where is my data stored?
On your device first — so it's instant and works with no signal — and, once you sign in, it syncs privately to your own account in an encrypted cloud database, backed up and available on every device you use. Access is limited to your account; we don't sell your data, show ads, or run tracking analytics. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How does the voice capture work?
Tap the mic and speak naturally — "point three for Johnson, call re the settlement." OnPoint reads out the client, hours, date, and narrative and shows them for you to confirm before anything is saved. Dictation runs through your phone's built-in speech recognition — the same one you use to text — so OnPoint receives only the finished text and never records or stores audio.
What does the AI see?
Three features use AI: Live Capture (structuring dictated text into entries), Polish (rewriting a narrative), and the Assistant. Each request sends the text you dictated or typed, along with your client and matter names so the AI can match them — never audio, and never anything you didn't ask it to work on. The full list of what each feature sends is in the Privacy Policy.
What happens if I switch phones or clear my browser?
Sign in on the new device and your work syncs down automatically. You can also keep a manual backup — Settings → Download backup gives you a file you control, and Restore loads it anywhere.
Is it on the App Store?
OnPoint installs directly from your browser: open your access link in Safari (or Chrome on Android), tap Share, then "Add to Home Screen." You get a real app icon, full-screen launch, and offline use — no store required.
Does it replace my billing software?
No — it feeds it. OnPoint is the capture pad for the moments you're away from your desk. Copy a clean, formatted block into your billing system, or send finished Word, PDF, or Excel bills directly when that's all you need.
Can my whole firm use it?
Each subscription covers one attorney. For multiple seats or firm-wide pricing, email us — we're easy to reach and easy to deal with.
Can I cancel? What's the refund policy?
You can cancel anytime — your subscription simply won't renew, and you keep access through the period you've paid for. Not sure whether OnPoint fits your practice? Email support@onpointtimeentry.com before you subscribe — happy to answer anything.
